Junior Entrepreneur Program

The Junior Entrepreneur Program is for Grade 5 and 6 teachers and students who want to explore what it’s like to be part of a business.

This program comes with everything you need to experience the full business lifecycle (raw materials – production – sales).

The program takes a minimum of 12 weeks to complete (2–3 hours a week) and can be extended several more weeks depending on participant interest. Teachers can decide for themselves how involved they want to be in their students’ company. The program guide will help you at each step, and the workshops require very little preparation.

Contests and extra activities will also be offered during the program, allowing the best teams to win prizes and scholarships at the end of the school year.

Participation in the Junior Entrepreneur Program would include an initial flat fee of $100.00 per company/team to cover management and supply fees, along with a variable fee of 3.5% of sales, which would be calculated at the end of the program (royalties for using the JA Quebec name during the project).

Are you interested in this program? Please contact program coordinator Jordan Madore at jmadore@jaquebec.org or 514-285-8944 ext. 103.

Note: For the 2020-2021 school year, NO FEES (flat or variable) will be required and you have until March 1, 2021 to start your businesses.

Thanks for supporting JA QUEBEC! Your gift will provide thousands of young with the tools they need to make smart financial decisions, develop a career path, and even start a business.
