NEW HIRES
Welcome aboard, Charles André, Jeremy and Alison!
Charles André Bordeleau joined JA Quebec on September 13, 2021, to fill the new position of Program Development Relationship Marketing Coordinator, with the goal of recruiting new schools, promoting our programs to new strategic partners and reaching more young people.
We also welcomed, Jeremy Cohen to our team on September 17 as a Communications Agent. Jeremy will be responsible for supporting our overall communications efforts on social media, as well as communications with our donors and strategic partners.
Alison Harik, a former participant, volunteer and centre coordinator for the Company Program, began a new role as the Company Program and Junior Entrepreneur Program Coordinator on September 13, 2021. She is replacing Jordan Madore as the coordinator.

Welcome Kimrang Te, Treasurer, and Marc-Antoine Bélanger, Director.
At our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 12, three people left our board of directors:
- Anna Giampà, Vice-Chair
- Stéphane Leblanc, Treasurer
- Olivier Demers, Director
We are incredibly grateful for their valuable contribution and generous collaboration over the past few years.
We'd like to welcome our new board members:
- Kimrang Te, a Partner in Tax & People Advisory Services with Ernst & Young LLP, was appointed Treasurer of the Board of Directors
- Marc-Antoine Bélanger, a Political Attaché at the National Assembly of Quebec, joined the JA Quebec team as a Director on the Board of Directors

| SCHOOL SUCCESS Founded in 2006, School Success provides homework help, tutoring and exam preparation services to help students succeed academically. School Success also runs a virtual private secondary school recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Education and the Magasin Scolaire bookstore.  |
| ÉCOLE BRANCHÉE L'École branchée offers professional training on teaching in the digital age. The agency is proud to support education about entrepreneurship and has agreed to post articles on its website to showcase school initiatives.  |
| A new year is under way! November and December are already looking quite action-packed! We'd like to extend a warm thank-you to schools for working with us, as well as to our incredible volunteers from the business community who keep enthusiastically signing up to work with students. It's not too late to enrol your class! Some 140 classes are already signed up for the current school year. Register your class as soon as possible because SPOTS ARE LIMITED. | It's back-to-school season, and we're always looking for new schools and more volunteers from the business community. Please feel free to refer people to us or talk about our programs with your community, your child's school principal or any co-workers who want to give something back to society. |

2021–2022 launch The Company Program is back again this year! The 2021–2022 edition officially started on October 26 and 27. This year, the Company Program is being offered as an extracurricular program and also as an in-school program—in other words, as part of daytime classroom activities—at several centres and schools in Quebec. We're looking for volunteer mentors to help our young entrepreneurs create their businesses. |
