Dear donors, partners and collaborators,

It is with great pleasure that we send you our annual report for the fiscal year 2016-2017.

We also want to take the time, at the beginning of this school year, to thank you all for believing in our mission, trusting our organization and getting involved with youth’s education and training. We are honored to count on your commitment and support.

Your support is essential to the pursuit of our actions, which not only aim to inspire and educate young people to business values, as well as enable them to understand finances and economics, and develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
Thanks to your generosity, and to the precious work of our dedicated volunteers, we were able to raise $500,000 in 2016-2017. These funds provide us with the means to:

• Continue offering FREE training programs on financial literacy, work readiness
and entrepreneurship in Quebec schools.
• Reach out to youths and extending our programs to more schools in Quebec.
• Expand our current 7 programs with the addition of conferences given by experts in their fields.
• Add new training programs and innovative educational tools.
• Expand the additional activities offered to youth, such as the Congrès officiel de la jeunesse entrepreneuriale du Québec (COJEQ) and the Gala de la relève entrepreneuriale.

Tripartite Pilot Project
Make financial language more understandable for the insertion companies in the greater region of Montreal.
Following a tripartite agreement between the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), the Collectif des Entreprises d'insertion du Québec and JA Quebec, 25 integration companies in the Greater Montreal region were able to benefit from an educational and informative brochure entitled "Managing Your Money". The brochure was developed especially for people facing particular difficulties onto the labour market, with the objective of fighting poverty and exclusion.

The purpose of this project was not only to stimulate conversation on basic economic and financial concepts, answering questions such as how to manage a budget, how to use a credit card, why save money, and learn about the insurance, but also to make financial language more understandable for this clientele.

We would like to thank the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) for its valuable support in this project.

Happy Autumn to everyone.
We are looking forward to seeing you again!
