COVID-19 has quickly upended our normal lives. Schools everywhere are closed, and many of them have switched to online learning to follow social distancing recommendations. As troubling as these last few weeks have been for us as adults, we also need to think about the impact this situation is having on the millions of young people who will be finishing their school year at home.

In the current context, education is a priority. And in situations like this, our mission becomes all the more important, because we need entrepreneurship and people who can help us create, reinvent and rebound. What we do at JA Quebec is central to our resilience as a community.
# INSPIRE
youth to broaden their horizons for their personal and professional futures
# GUIDE
tomorrow’s entrepreneurs by giving them the keys to innovate, step into leadership roles and solidify their professional aspirations
# PREPARE
kids to adapt and succeed by teaching financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness
To support our youth, the entire JA Quebec team is working hard and enthusiastically to make free online resources available to teachers and parents. This will make it possible to continue teaching kids and young adults important concepts about finances, the job market, and entrepreneurship through a collection of fun, interactive activities.

Together, we can help kids spend more time planning for and dreaming about tomorrow, and less time worrying about today.

To complete the final four weeks in the Company Program for secondary 4 & 5 students, we’ve prepared competitions, video modules and several projects to keep our young entrepreneurs motivated to finish out the program! Scholarships will be awarded at the end of the year as usual.

• - Economics for Success, for youth in secondary 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
- Activities teaching self-confidence, personal finance, academic objectives, networking, and how to sell yourself. Plus lots of other surprises to better equip our youth!

• More Than Money, for elementary school students in grades 4, 5 and 6
- Money management activities. They’ll also learn the basics of entrepreneurship like choosing a good product or service, writing a business plan, and successfully managing a company.

We’ll let you know as soon as our platform with all of our free digital content is online. Each program will be supported by interactive activities, games, and videos made by business people who want to stay involved as virtual volunteers.
