We are confident that 2020 will be just as stimulating and dynamic as last year, with promising projects that will continue to help students explore their full potential and become successful professionals and entrepreneurs.

2020: THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
Thank you for working together with us last year. With your continued support, we know we can successfully carry out major initiatives this year and reach even more young people with our programs.

We'd like to wish you and your family all the best for 2020. May the new year bring you an abundance of happiness, peace and warmth!
We appreciate your continued commitment to Quebec youth throughout the new year. Your loyalty and commitment to JA Quebec make a world of difference!

The JA Quebec team

Welcome Jordan Madore!

JA Quebec is proud to welcome Jordan Madore to our team at the Montreal head office. Jordan will act as the interim Company Program Coordinator, replacing Maude Rhéaume. Jordan brings with him a wealth of knowledge about JA Quebec (16 years) and a variety of project and event management experience, making him the perfect person to pick up where Maude left off and continue developing the program.

In May 2019, OBI was named JA Quebec's Company of the Year in Montreal. As you may recall, they continued on to the JA Youth Success Summit in Calgary in July 2019, taking home top honours as Canada’s Student Company of the Year. And now, there’s even more great news to share: OBI won the FedEx Access Award at the JA Americas competition, held November 26–28 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The FedEx Access Award is presented to the student-run business that best exhibits the principles of global connectivity—in other words, a business that is driven by innovation, connected to and ready to access new markets, fuelling community development and actively committed to social responsibility.

This was a great honour for OBI, which competed with 20 student companies from South America and Central America at the event. OBI is a fashion company that makes reversible belts. After the Company Program ended, the 17- and 18-year-old entrepreneurs who run OBI decided to keep going with their business and add new product lines.

Congrats to OBI!
